The AGEs Society has launched 'Wise Flora,' a product aimed at preventing degenerative neurological diseases.

[DailyPharm Reporter: Hye-Kyoung Kang] The AGEs Society (led by CEO Myoung-Gyu Park) is launching a health supplement called Wise Flora, which is designed to help prevent degenerative neurological diseases.Wise Flora is a health supplement certified for its effectiveness in protecting cells from oxidative stress, thanks to its formulation with vitamin E, which helps shield cells from harmful oxygen. Additional ingredients include Weisella cibaria, clove leaf oil, cinnamaldehyde, and propolis.
The AGEs Society noted, "We recently identified the role of harmful bacteria and glycotoxins in the development of degenerative neurological diseases such as dementia and Parkinson's. Based on this research, we developed the probiotic strain Weisella cibaria, which inhibits Proteus mirabilis, a bacterium known to trigger Parkinson's. We are actively working on developing Parkinson’s treatments and creating solutions that suppress glycotoxin-producing environments to prevent dementia."
CEO Myoung-Gyu Park stated, "Diseases like dementia and Parkinson's are ultimately linked to gut health. Creating a balanced gut microbiota that effectively suppresses harmful bacteria while promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria is key to preventing degenerative neurological diseases."
The product is scheduled for release in early November and will be distributed to over 1,000 member pharmacies of the AGEs Society nationwide.
