[DailyPharm Reporter: Hye-Kyung Kang] MetaCen Therapeutics and the AGEs Society (led by CEO Myoung-Gyu Park) will hold a public lecture in Busan on November 29, focusing on how glycotoxins pose a threat to modern health.
The lecture, titled "Understanding Glycotoxins Changes How You View Patients and Diseases," will take place from 1 PM to 6 PM.

In the first session, CEO Myoung-Gyu Park will introduce glycotoxin reduction technologies and discuss the autophagy solution.

In the second session, Ah-Reum Kim, the academic representative pharmacist, will deliver a lecture on viewing patients from a glycotoxin perspective.
In the second session, titled "Practical Applications of Glycotoxins," pharmacists from the Busan region will share real-world case studies and successful pharmacy examples. The lectures will be delivered by Hee-Hyun Kim from Rich Onnuri Pharmacy, Ji-Woo Seo from Mimi Pharmacy, and Jung-Hyun Kim from Beautiful Pharmacy. The topics include "Easy Glycotoxin Consultations: Approaching 10 Simple Cases Over One Difficult Case," "Building the Foundation for Consultation Pharmacies with the AGEs Soceity," and "Me Before FMD 5 Days: The Miracle After 5 Days."
A representative from the association stated, "This lecture will explore the issue of glycotoxins threatening modern health and provide solutions that can be implemented in pharmacies. It’s expected to unlock the key to effective disease consultations."
They also announced the "Let's Go Together Event," where pharmacists can attend the lecture with a colleague and receive gifts if both participate, as part of an initiative to encourage greater attendance.
The AGEs Society also shared plans to hold public lectures in Jeollanam-do and Gwangju next month.
