MetaCen Therapeutics has launched a new product called 'rTG Omega-3 EO.'

[DailyPharm Reporter: Hye-Kyung Kang] MetaCen Therapeutics (CEO Myoung-Gyu Park) has launched a new product called 'rTG Omega-3 EO,' which features rTG Omega-3 as its main ingredient.
This product addresses the challenge of optimizing the Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio, something that many existing products have struggled with. Using MetaCen Therapeutics' proprietary technology, rTG Omega-3 EO is designed to support more efficient Omega-3 intake.
A company representative explained, "The primary reason for the need to consume Omega-3 stems from modern dietary habits. The human body maintains a healthy state when the Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio is around 1:1 to 1:4. However, due to the consumption of fried foods and meat, this ratio can shift to as much as 1:10 to 1:20. Such an imbalance promotes the production of arachidonic acid, which can lead to chronic inflammation."
CEO Myoung-Gyu Park added, "Simply taking standard Omega-3 supplements without adjusting dietary patterns has limitations in suppressing inflammation caused by Omega-6. rTG Omega-3 EO contains highly absorbable rTG Omega-3 and is specifically formulated to effectively balance Omega-6 with the addition of alpha-linolenic acid and yeast extract, helping to optimize this ratio."
rTG Omega-3 EO will be available starting on the 20th at pharmacies affiliated with the AGEs Society nationwide.
