MetaCen Therapeutics' AGEs Society, a company specializing in glycotoxins and new drug development, has announced the launch of 'Arginine 6000 Recycler.'
L-arginine gained widespread attention after American pharmacologist Louis Ignarro was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1998 for his research on the compound. Arginine is widely known for its ability to produce nitric oxide (N.O.), which dilates blood vessels, potentially improving conditions such as hypertension, blood lipid concentration, erectile dysfunction, and cardiovascular disease prevention. However, arginine's low absorption rate in the body means enhancing its absorption is crucial to maximizing its expected benefits.
The Arginine 6000 Recycler features a three-phase absorption system that inhibits the breakdown of arginine, resulting in a significantly higher production of nitric oxide (N.O.) compared to regular arginine products.
This product, designed with MetaCen Therapeutics' proprietary technology, is the only one in Korea that professionally enhances arginine activity.
Launched in March 2023, Arginine 6000 Recycler is recommended for people with obesity, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or atherosclerosis, as well as those with low metabolism or limited physical activity. The recommended dosage is 1-2 sachets per day, with 1 sachet per serving.
MetaCen Therapeutics CEO Myoung-Gyu Park expressed, "It was unfortunate to realize that 98.5% of arginine is not utilized for N.O. synthesis, something many people are unaware of. I am grateful to the pharmacists who have shown great enthusiasm for the Arginine Recycler."
A company representative added that other products launched in the same month, such as 'My Body Proud Silk Peptide' and 'IS Up Lecithin,' have also become popular pharmacy staples.
